A t that time Eli, whose eyesight had dimmed so that he could not see, was lying down in his own place.

وَضَعُفَتْ عَينا عالِي كَثِيراً حَتَّى صارَ أعمَى تَقرِيباً. وَفِي ذاتِ لَيلَةٍ ذَهَبَ إلَى غُرفَتِهِ لِيَنامَ.
