A s the Philistine lords were passing on by hundreds and by thousands, and David and his men were in the rear with Achish,

وَكانَ حُكّامُ الفِلِسْطِيِّينَ يَتَقَدَّمُونَ في فِرَقٍ مِنْ مِئَةِ رَجُلٍ وَألفِ رَجُلٍ. وَأمّا داوُدُ وَرِجالُهُ فَكانُوا فِي الخَلفِ مَعَ أخِيشَ.
