B ecause you did not obey the voice of the Lord or execute His fierce wrath upon Amalek, therefore the Lord has done this thing to you this day.

قَدْ فَعَلَ اللهُ ذَلِكَ لِأنَّكَ لَمْ تُطِعِ صَوتَ اللهِ ، فَلَمْ تَقضِ عَلَى العَمالِيقِيِّينَ الَّذِينَ اشتَعَلَ غَضَبُ اللهِ عَلَيهِمْ.
