S o David and Abishai went to the army by night, and there Saul lay sleeping within the encampment with his spear stuck in the ground at his head; and Abner and the army lay round about him.

Davide e Abisai dunque andarono di notte da quella gente; Saul era coricato e dormiva nel parco dei carri, con la sua lancia conficcata in terra, dalla parte della sua testa; e Abner e la sua gente gli stavano coricati intorno.
