S o Jonathan made a covenant with the house of David, saying, And the Lord will require that this covenant be kept at the hands of David’s enemies.

فَقَطَعَ يُوناثانُ عَهداً مَعَ عائلَةِ داوُدَ، وَطَلَبَ إلَى اللهِ أنْ يَحميَ داوُدَ مِنْ أعدائِهِ.
