S o it was year after year; whenever Hannah went up to the Lord’s house, Peninnah provoked her, so she wept and did not eat.

وَتَكَرَّرَ هَذا سَنَةً بَعدَ سَنَةٍ. فَكُلَّما ذَهَبَتْ العائِلَةُ إلَى بَيتِ اللهِ ، عَمِدَتْ فَنِنَّةُ إلَى إغاظَةِ حَنَّةَ. فَتَتَضايَقُ حَنَّةُ وَتَبكِي وَتَمتَنِعُ عَنِ الطَّعامِ.
