T hus God repaid the wickedness of Abimelech which he had done to his father by slaying his seventy brothers;

وَهَكَذا عاقَبَ اللهُ أبِيمالِكَ عَلَى الشَّرِّ الَّذِي ارتَكَبَهُ ضِدَّ أبِيهِ بِقَتلِهِ إخْوَتَهُ السَّبعِينَ.
