A nd his mother’s kinsmen spoke all these words concerning him in the hearing of all the men of Shechem, and their hearts inclined to follow Abimelech, for they said, He is our brother.

I fratelli di sua madre riportarono tutte queste parole intorno a lui a tutti gli abitanti di Sichem; e il loro cuore si piegò a favore di Abimelek, perché dissero: «nostro fratello».
