T hen Samson called to the Lord and said, O Lord God, remember me, I pray You, and strengthen me, I pray You, only this once, O God, and let me have one vengeance upon the Philistines for both my eyes.

Bấy giờ, Sam-sôn kêu cầu Đức Giê-hô-va, mà rằng: Chúa Giê-hô-va ôi! xin Ngài nhớ lại tôi. Hỡi Đức Chúa Trời! xin ban sức lực cho tôi chỉ lần nầy mà thôi, hầu cho tôi báo thù dân Phi-li-tin về sự mất hai con mắt tôi.
