T hey were told not to injure the herbage of the earth nor any green thing nor any tree, but only such human beings as do not have the seal (mark) of God on their foreheads.

They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.
