S o it was their uncircumcised children whom He raised up in their stead whom Joshua circumcised, because the rite had not been performed on the way.

فَأقامَ أبناءَهُمْ مَكانَهُمْ، الأبْناءَ الَّذِينَ خَتَنَهُمْ يَشُوعُ. فَلَمْ يَكُونُوا قَدْ خُتِنُوا فِي أثْناءِ التَّرْحالِ فِي الصَّحراءِ.
