T hen the waters which came down from above stood and rose up in a heap far off, at Adam, the city that is beside Zarethan; and those flowing down toward the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, were wholly cut off. And the people passed over opposite Jericho.

las aguas que venían de arriba se detuvieron y se elevaron en un montón, a una gran distancia en Adam, la ciudad que está al lado de Saretán; y las que descendían hacia el mar de Arabá, el mar Salado, fueron cortadas completamente. Y el pueblo pasó frente a Jericó.
