Joshua 22:28 ~ ﻳﺸﻮﻉ 22:28

S o we thought, if that should be said to us or to our descendants in time to come, we can reply, Behold the copy of the altar of the Lord, which our fathers made, not for burnt offerings nor for sacrifices, but to be a witness between us and you.

وَقُلْنا: ‹إنْ حَدَثَ هَذا مَعْنا أوْ مَعَ أولادِنا فِي المُستَقبَلِ، سَنَقُولُ لَهُمْ: انظُرُوا إلَى نَمُوذَجِ مَذْبَحِ اللهِ الَّذِي بَناهُ آباؤنا. فَلَيسَ هُوَ لِلتَّقْدِماتِ أوِ الذَّبائِحِ، بَلْ لِيَكُونَ شاهِداً بَينَنا وَبَينَكُمْ.›
