S o all the cities allotted to the Merarite families, that is, the remainder of the Levite families, were twelve cities.

وَكانَ مَجمُوعُ المُدُنِ الَّتِي أُعطِيَتْ بِالقُرعَةِ لِعائِلاتِ المَرارِيِّينَ، وَهُمُ الباقُونَ مِنْ عائِلاتِ لاوِي، اثنَتَي عَشْرَةَ مَدِينَةً.
