T he tribe of Joseph spoke to Joshua, saying, Why have you given but one lot and one portion as an inheritance when are a great people, for until now the Lord has blessed ?

The sons of Joseph said to Joshua, “Why have you given us only one share of the land? We have many people. And the Lord has brought good to us until now.”
