B ut we behaved gently when we were among you, like a devoted mother nursing and cherishing her own children.

مَعَ العِلمِ أنَّهُ كانَ بِإمكانِنا، لَو أرَدْنا، أنْ نَستَخدِمَ سُلْطانَنا عَلَيكُمْ كَرُسُلٍ لِلمَسِيحِ. لَكِنَّنا كُنّا لُطَفاءَ بَينَكُمْ، كَأُمٍّ تَحنُو عَلَى أطفالِها وَتُرضِعُهُمْ.
