S o I fell down and lay prostrate before the Lord forty days and nights because the Lord had said He would destroy you.

«فَانْبَطَحْتُ وَوَجهِي إلَى الأرْضِ فِي حَضرَةِ اللهِ أربَعِينَ يَوماً وَأربَعِينَ لَيلَةً، لِأنَّ اللهَ أعلَنَ أنَّهُ سَيُهلِكُكُمْ.
