F or ask now of the days that are past, which were before you, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from one end of the heavens to the other, whether such a great thing as this has ever occurred or been heard of anywhere.

Ui atu hoki ki nga rangi onamata, o mua i a koe, o te ra i hanga ai e te Atua te tangata ki runga ki te whenua, i tetahi pito o te rangi paku noa ki tetahi pito o te rangi, i puta mai ranei tetahi mea hei rite mo tenei mea te nui, i rangona rane i he rite ki tenei?
