J air son of Manasseh took all the region of Argob, that is, Bashan, as far as the border of the Geshurites and the Maacathites, and called it after his own name, Havvoth-jair, so called to this day.

Jair hijo de Manasés tomó toda la tierra de Argob hasta el límite con Gesur y Maaca, y le puso el nombre que aún conserva: Basán-havot-jair.
