B ecause they did not meet you with food and water on the way when you came forth out of Egypt, and because they hired Balaam son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia against you to curse you.

porque cuando ustedes salieron de Egipto ellos no salieron al camino para recibirlos a ustedes con pan y agua, y porque contrataron a Balaam hijo de Beor, el de Petor en Mesopotamia, para que los maldijera.
