A nd you shall eat before the Lord your God in the place in which He will cause His Name to dwell the tithe (tenth) of your grain, your new wine, your oil, and the firstlings of your herd and your flock, that you may learn to fear the Lord your God always.

Mangerai, in presenza del Signore tuo Dio, nel luogo che egli avrà scelto come dimora del suo nome, la decima del tuo frumento, del tuo mosto, del tuo olio e i primi parti dei tuoi armenti e delle tue greggi, affinché tu impari a temere sempre il Signore, il tuo Dio.
