A nd you shall collect all its spoil into the midst of its open square and shall burn the city with fire with every bit of its spoil to the Lord your God. It shall be a heap forever; it shall not be built again.

Juntarás todos sus despojos en el centro de la plaza, y le prenderás fuego a la ciudad y a todos sus despojos, como holocausto al Señor tu Dios. Y esa ciudad quedará para siempre convertida en un montón de ruinas, y jamás volverá a ser reconstruida.
