N ow if the first handful of dough offered as the firstfruits is consecrated (holy), so is the whole mass; and if the root is consecrated (holy), so are the branches.

Se é santa a parte da massa que é oferecida como primeiros frutos, toda a massa também o é; se a raiz é santa, os ramos também o serão.
