S o I ask, Have they stumbled so as to fall ? By no means! But through their false step and transgression salvation to the Gentiles, so as to arouse Israel and so to make them jealous.

I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! But through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles.
