A fter considerable time had elapsed, the Jews conspired to put Saul out of the way by slaying him,

وَبَعدَ مُرُورِ أيّامٍ كَثِيرَةٍ، تَآمَرَ اليَهُودُ لِيَقتُلُوهُ.
