A nd made with Abraham a covenant (an agreement to be religiously observed) of which circumcision was the seal. And under these circumstances became the father of Isaac and circumcised him on the eighth day; and Isaac when he became the father of Jacob, and Jacob, the twelve patriarchs.

神 又 賜 他 割 禮 的 約 。 於 是 亞 伯 拉 罕 生 了 以 撒 ， 第 八 日 給 他 行 了 割 禮 。 以 撒 生 雅 各 ， 雅 各 生 十 二 位 先 祖 。
