I t was after three months’ stay there that we set sail in a ship which had wintered in the island, an Alexandrian ship with the Twin Brothers as its figurehead.

وَبَعدَ ثَلاثَةِ أشهُرٍ، أبْحَرْنا فِي سَفِينَةٍ إسكَندَرِيَّةٍ كانَتْ قَدْ قَضَتِ الشِّتاءَ فِي الجَزِيرَةِ. وَكانَ فِي مُقَدِّمَتِها عَلامَةُ الْجَوزاءِ: «الإلَهانِ التَّوأمانِ.»
