H e also tried to desecrate and defile the temple, but we laid hands on him and would have sentenced him by our Law,

كَما أنَّهُ حاوَلَ أنْ يُنَجِّسَ الهَيكَلَ، لَكِنَّنا أمسَكنا بِهِ، وَأرَدْنا أنْ نُحاكِمَهُ بِحَسَبِ شَريعَتِنا.
