A nd they said, Cornelius, a centurion (captain) who is just and upright and in right standing with God, being God-fearing and obedient and well spoken of by the whole Jewish nation, has been instructed by a holy angel to send for you to come to his house; and he has received in answer a warning to listen to and act upon what you have to say.

他 們 說 ： 百 夫 長 哥 尼 流 是 個 義 人 ， 敬 畏 神 ， 為 猶 太 通 國 所 稱 讚 。 他 蒙 一 位 聖 天 使 指 示 ， 叫 他 請 你 到 他 家 裡 去 ， 聽 你 的 話 。
