O ne Sabbath while Jesus was passing through the fields of standing grain, it occurred that His disciples picked some of the spikes and ate, rubbing it out in their hands.

Now it came to pass on a sabbath, that he was going through the grainfields; and his disciples plucked the ears, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands.
