A s soon as it was day, the assembly of the elders of the people gathered together, both chief priests and scribes; and they led Him into their council (the Sanhedrin), and they said,

وَعِندَما جاءَ النَّهارُ، اجتَمَعَ شُيُوخُ الشَّعبِ وَكِبارُ الكَهَنَةِ وَمُعَلِّمِو الشَّرِيعَةِ، وَاستَدْعوا يَسوعَ إلَى اجتِماعِهِمْ
