P ay attention and always be on your guard. If your brother sins (misses the mark), solemnly tell him so and reprove him, and if he repents (feels sorry for having sinned), forgive him.

Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.
