A nd there kept going out to him all the country of Judea and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and they were baptized by him in the river Jordan, as they were confessing their sins.

Tot ţinutul Iudeii şi toţi locuitorii Ierusalimului au început să iasă la el; şi, mărturisindu-şi păcatele, erau botezaţi de el în rîul Iordan.
