A nd when He entered the sacred enclosure of the temple, the chief priests and elders of the people came up to Him as He was teaching and said, By what power of authority are You doing these things, and who gave You this power of authority?

Tendo Jesus entrado no templo, e estando a ensinar, aproximaram-se dele os principais sacerdotes e os anciãos do povo, e perguntaram: Com que autoridade fazes tu estas coisas? e quem te deu tal autoridade?
