A nd you, Capernaum, are you to be lifted up to heaven? You shall be brought down to Hades! For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have continued until today.

Y tú, Capernaúm, ¿acaso serás elevada hasta los cielos? ¡Hasta el Hades (región de los muertos) descenderás! Porque si los milagros que se hicieron en ti se hubieran hecho en Sodoma, ésta hubiera permanecido hasta hoy.
