A nd Aaron did so; he lighted the lamps of the lampstand to give light in front of it, as the Lord commanded Moses.

فَعَمِلَ هارُونُ ذَلِكَ، إذْ أشعَلَ السُّرُجَ لِتُضِيءَ المِنطَقَةَ الواقِعَةَ أمامَ المَنارَةِ كَما أمَرَ اللهُ مُوسَى.
