T hey said, The Lord commanded my lord to give the land for inheritance by lot to the Israelites; and my lord was commanded by the Lord to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother to his daughters.

Ils dirent: L'Éternel a ordonné à mon seigneur de donner le pays en héritage par le sort aux enfants d'Israël. Mon seigneur a aussi reçu de l'Éternel l'ordre de donner l'héritage de Tselophchad, notre frère, à ses filles.
