A nd the Lord said to Moses, Make a fiery serpent and set it on a pole; and everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live.

The Lord said to Moses, “Make a special snake and put it up on a long piece of wood. Everyone who is bitten will live when he looks at it.”
