A nd there went forth a wind from the Lord and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall beside the camp, about a day’s journey on this side and on the other side, all around the camp, about two cubits above the ground.

Vino entonces del mar un viento de parte del Señor, que trajo codornices y las dejó caer sobre el campamento. Éstas cubrían la superficie de la tierra hasta un día de camino, por un lado, y un día de camino por el otro, y se amontonaban a una altura de casi dos codos.
