Malachi 2:16 ~ Malaquias 2:16

F or the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I hate divorce and marital separation and him who covers his garment with violence. Therefore keep a watch upon your spirit, that you deal not treacherously and faithlessly.

Pois eu detesto o divórcio, diz o Senhor Deus de Israel, e aquele que cobre de violência o seu vestido; portanto cuidai de vós mesmos, diz o Senhor dos exércitos; e não sejais infiéis.
