A re not You from everlasting, O Lord my God, my Holy One? We shall not die. O Lord, You have appointed to execute judgment, and You, O Rock, have established him for chastisement and correction.

Doamne, nu eşti Tu din vecinicie, Dumnezeul meu, Sfîntul meu? Nu vom muri! Doamne, Tu ai ridicat pe poporul acesta ca să-Ţi împlineşti judecăţile Tale; Tu, Stînca mea, l-ai ridicat ca să dai prin el pedepsele Tale!
