T he lion tore in pieces enough for his whelps and strangled for his lionesses; he filled his caves with prey and his dens with what he had seized and carried off.

يَجِدُ الأسَدُ طَعاماً كَثِيراً لِجِرائِهِ، وَيَذبَحُ لِلَبُؤاتِهِ. يَملأُ مَغارَتَهُ بِالفَرائِسِ، وَكُهُوفَهُ بِالَّلَحمِ المُمَزَّقِ.
