A nd if your brother has become poor and his hand wavers, then you shall uphold (strengthen, relieve) him, a stranger or a temporary resident with you, so that he may live with you.

«إنِ افتَقَرَ واحِدٌ مِنْ إخْوَتِكَ بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ، وَلَمْ يَستَطِعْ إعالَةَ نَفسِهِ، فَساعِدْهُ، حَتَّى وَإنْ كانَ غَرِيباً مُقِيماً فِي أرْضِكَ أوْ نَزيلاً.
