F or the life (the animal soul) is in the blood, and I have given it for you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement, by reason of the life.

Porque el alma (o la vida) de la carne en la sangre está; y yo os la he dado para reconciliar vuestras personas (almas) sobre el altar; por lo cual la misma sangre reconciliará la persona.
