A nd his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power; and he shall corrupt and destroy astonishingly and shall prosper and do his own pleasure, and he shall corrupt and destroy the mighty men and the holy people (the people of the saints).

Llegará a tener mucho poder, pero no por méritos propios, y causará grandes daños, pues actuará de manera arbitraria; será tal su éxito que destruirá a pueblos poderosos y al pueblo de los santos.
