T hen the presidents and satraps sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom, but they could find no occasion or fault, for he was faithful, nor was there any error or fault found in him.

Allora i prefetti e i satrapi cercarono di trovare un pretesto contro Daniele riguardo l'amministrazione del regno, ma non poterono trovare alcun pretesto o corruzione, perché egli era fedele e non si potè trovare in lui alcun errore o corruzione.
