I ts leaves were fair and its fruit abundant, and in it was food for all. The living creatures of the field found shade under it, and the birds of the sky dwelt in its branches; and all flesh was fed from it.

Il suo fogliame era bello, il suo frutto abbondante e in esso c'era cibo per tutti; sotto di esso trovavano ombra le bestie dei campi, gli uccelli del cielo dimoravano fra i suoi rami e da lui prendeva cibo ogni essere vivente.
