Y ou, O king, saw, and behold, a great image. This image which was mighty and of exceedingly great brightness stood before you, and the appearance of it was frightening and terrible.

«أيُّها المَلِكُ، بَينَما كُنتَ تَنظُرُ، ظَهَرَ تِمثالٌ عَظِيمٌ جِدّاً وَوَقَفَ أمامَكَ. كانَ لَمَعانُهُ عَظِيماً جِدّاً، وَمَنظَرُهُ مُخِيفاً وَمُدْهِشاً.
