A nd the king shall do according to his will; he shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every god and shall speak astonishing things against the God of gods and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished, for that which is determined shall be done.

Царят ще действа според волята си, ще се надигне и ще се възвеличи над всякакъв бог, и ще говори чудесно, надменно против Бога на боговете; и ще благоденства, докато се изчерпи негодуванието; защото определеното ще се изпълни.
