A nd these are the measurements of the altar in cubits. The cubit is a royal cubit; the bottom or gutter shall be a cubit deep and a cubit wide, with a rim or lip round about it of a span’s breadth. And this shall be the height of the altar:

Las medidas del altar eran en codos, y el codo equivale a cincuenta centímetros. La base medía cincuenta centímetros de ancho, y el remate alrededor de su borde medía veinticinco centímetros. Éste era el zócalo del altar.
